SEASON The season runs for 4 months, May through August. We shoot every Saturday, but a week day shoot can be arranged if booked in advance by a full team of 8 guns.

NUMBER OF GUNS We always shoot a line of eight guns to properly cover the drives, however individual guns or small parties can book and be fitted in with other shooters to make up a party of eight. The individual cost is the total cost of the day, divided by the number of guns. Upon prior request we can shoot a line of six to ten guns quite satisfactorily.

BAG Minimum day’s shoot is 400 birds but quantities above this can be requested. Where a smaller day than 400 is required we suggest the sharing of a gun, which of course halves the cost per gun.

PROGRAMME On most shoots both cocks and hens will be harvested. The total bag count will include all pheasants dropped whether recovered or not. Titoki has some very difficult country that will hold dead birds up off the ground and streams where birds are easily lost. Every reasonable effort will be made to pick up birds shot but we will not delay the shoot by conducting time wasting pick-ups. Half of the total pick-up will be available for the guns to take away with them – unlike the U.K. where the guns get a brace of birds each! The other half of the bag will be distributed amongst the beaters and helpers.

SURCHARGES
& REFUNDS
Where the bag booked is exceeded additional birds will be charged pro rata per bird. Similarly where the bag booked is not achieved a refund between the actual bag and the bag paid for will be refunded pro rata per bird, but account will be taken of the ammunition used and 4 cartridges will be held to be considered the equivalent of one bird. A 3% tolerance of the bag, either under or over, is the accepted norm.

PAYMENT A non-refundable deposit of 20% will be payable at the time of booking the shoot with the balance due 21 days prior to the shoot. Any surcharges or refunds will be adjusted following the shoot.

WET WEATHER
CANCELLATION
If the shoot manager sees fit to cancel the shoot or part thereof due to bad weather, either a full or an appropriate partial refund will be made, or an alternative date set for the shoot by arrangement with the client. If the client cancels the shoot then no refund is due.

CLOTHING

It is recommended that darker type clothing in either tweeds, greens and browns be worn. Avoid white or bright clothing.
Always bring waterproof and/or windbreak clothing, gloves, hats and good water resistant footwear with a good grip sole. We are dealing with winter conditions.
